Senior Pastor Milton Atkins has served in his capacity at Harvest Ministries church since 2004. He is a servant leader that focuses on congregational care and training. His goal in preaching the Bible is to share a relevant message that listeners can apply to their lives in tangible ways.
He is an ordained Bishop with the Church of God of Prophecy and serves as the Regional Presbyter for the Roanoke Valley Region. He is married to Robin Atkins (Harvest Administrator) and together they have two wonderful children, Tyler (Lorna), Ashley (Alex), and two grandchildren, Ian and Jameson. Also part of their family is their Labradoodle, Dazee.
Pastor Atkins is celebrating 34 years of pastoral ministry this year having served congregations in East Berlin, Pennsylvania, Virginia Beach, Virginia and Roanoke, Virginia. Pastor Atkins graduated from Luther Rice College and Seminary with a Master of Leadership. He completed his Doctor of Theology from Christian Life School of Theology. He is currently pursuing a second Masters in Church Ministries from Pentecostal Theological Seminary. He is excited about the future of Harvest Ministries and looks forward to investing in the next generation of spiritual leaders.
