Senior Pastor J. Milton Atkins has served as Senior Pastor of Harvest Ministries since February 29, 2004. Before assuming this position, he served as State Evangelism Director in Pennsylvania and in other pastorates in Pennsylvania and Virginia. Pastor Atkins holds a Doctorate in Theology and is an ordained Bishop in the Church of God of Prophecy (International Offices in Cleveland, Tennessee.) His pulpit ministry reflects his commitment to presenting the truth of the Word of God in a relevant manner which impacts the lives of people today. He and his wife Robin were married in 1986 and have worked together in numerous capacities. The couple have two children, Tyler (Lorna-daughter in law), Ashley and grandson Ian.
Administrator Robin Atkins was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut to parents Bishop and Mrs. Robert H. Bradley. She has been a licensed minister since 1983 with a Master's in Theology. Prior to accepting her current position with Harvest Ministries she has been employed by the Church State Office in Delaware, Louisiana, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Her life has been full and colorful with her multifaceted positions as private secretary to State Bishop in Louisiana and Pennsylvania, State Youth Director, Youth Camp Director and Coordinator, Editor and Publisher of Keystone Star Monthly publication, Convention and Conference producer and current volunteer positions of Women's Ministries Director and Seniors Assistant Director. She has also enjoyed a successful Real Estate Career in Virginia Beach, VA and five years as a consultant for Verizon Communications. She married her husband Milton in 1986 and they have two wonderful children Tyler (Lorna-daughter in law) and Ashley. And last but not least a loving Labradoodle named Dazee.
Alma Boyd is a native Virginian has traveled extensively for over 35 years with her spouse Ron, ministering the gospel in mission trips, youth and children’s ministries and pastoral ministry. She has also enjoyed an extensive career in finance and medical business management. As her husband was appointed to various areas, she was employed in each place in a business office or medical facility. When she returned with her family to Virginia from California, she was hired by a local hospital to manage the reference lab billing department. After 10 years, she moved to a Rehab company and served as finance manager for the region. Presently she is employed part time as finance director for a mental health agency. Alma has been actively involved with many organizations in the community for business management, debt collection and Human Resource management. She has been blessed to work with companies that have provided classes and resources to help her in this 30 year journey to finance director.
Pastor Robbie Boyd served formerly as youth pastor for Harvest Ministries for six years. His other ministerial positions have included Virginia State Youth Director, Mission Team Coordinator, Camp Director and Youth Pastor at Lynchburg COGOP. Robbie works as an ACTS mental health compliance and training officer QMHP. He has been working full time in the mental health field for over a decade. He is married to Mindy, who assists him, as well as using her many gifts and talents in ministry. Robbie and Mindy have two sons, Riley and Avery. Robbie's vision is to have ongoing community outreaches, events, rallies and also an out-of-state outreach trip. His hope and prayer is to reach the Roanoke Valley with the message of Jesus Christ and the Hope of His Salvation.
Pastor Austin Morgan was born and raised in West Virginia. He completed his Bachelor’s in Music at Lee University. He has worked as a cabin leader, class teacher, and minister for youth camps in both Virginia and West Virginia. He has also been on staff at West Virginia’s winter and spring retreats. He is currently working as an administrative office assistant and website manager/designer for the Church of God of Prophecy State Offices in Virginia. He is a music entrepreneur and loves working with people of all ages. He has a passion for educating teens and young adults in using their gifts and abilities for growth of the kingdom of God. He married his beloved wife Lindsey in May, 2018.
Amber Williams has always had a heart for kids. She has been a member of Harvest Ministries since she was seven years old. As the daughter of the former pastor, Tim Coalter, Amber has been in or around ministry all of the life. She has led small groups and has gone on several mission trips. She has taught classes for kids and young adults. She has coordinated events, worked in the nursery, and served as a summer camp counselor. She is always around to help where needed. Amber is married to Jason and they have four bright beautiful kids, Grace, Jacob, Audrey and Elijah. She's ready to come along side you and help teach your child how to be a happy Christian.
Ashley Alley has been a part of the Harvest Ministries family for 25 years. During her teenage years she led youth worship. Music is her passion and she has been singing since she was a little girl. She has a degree in business management. Previously she served as administrative secretary for youth and women's discipleship departments at the Virginia State office of Church of God and office manager at the Church of God of Prophecy State office. She has been involved in music on many levels throughout the years as she has led worship at conferences for Harvest Ministries, other local churches and at the Church of God Girls Jamboree. She was in state choir in high school and sang the National Anthem at local sporting events. Ashley is married to Josh and they have a daughter Elliana Grace (Ellie Bug) and two fur babies, Apollo and Peanut.
